Gordon Ramsay’s Next Level Chef season two features 18 chefs competing for the $250,000 grand prize. The culinary competition series kicks off the new season following Super Bowl LVII, with Ramsay once again joined by chefs Nyesha Arrington and Richard Blais as mentors to the competitors.
This season Puerto Rico is represented on Team Arrington by Omallys Hopper (Omi, @cookingconomi)
Omi, started her TikTok channel @cookingconomi while under quarantine during the pandemic. Omi quickly grew a huge following by tapping into her roots and sharing traditional Puerto Rican recipes while incorporating her own twist. Alongside her recipe tutorials, she shares her best cooking tips and hacks. Through the support of her followers, Omi wanted to continue sharing recipes to keep Puerto Rican dishes alive.
